Mideyah Parker is a freelance hairstylist based in New York City. She is a graduate of the Aveda Institute in Tallahassee, Florida. Mideyah went on to Atlanta, GA, to style hair behind the chair and later become a cosmetology instructor at the Aveda Institute. One day Mideyah decided she wanted to relocate to New York City to pursue her dream of working in TV, film, fashion, and with celebrities. There, she worked with hair legends Ted Gibson, Chuckie Amos, and Jimmy Paul to name a few. Mideyah later joined the main team of Guido Palau where she began to elevate her skill set. Now, she travels the world playing with all hair types and textures.

An accomplished hairstylist, Mideyah has worked with celebrities like Natasha Lyonne and Tracie Ellis Ross. She’s served as hairstylist ambassador for Pattern Beauty.Her work has appeared in American Vogue, British Vogue, WSJ, i-D Magazine, WWD, Interview Mag, Harper’s Bazaar, and The Cut. Her accomplishments include covers of
Vogue Netherlands, Document Journal, M Le magazine du Monde, CR fashion, and Another Magazine. She has worked with supermodels Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, Precious Lee, and Paloma Elsesser. Mideyah has done campaigns, advertisements, and lookbooks for brands like Coach, The Row, 148 Lafayette,Nike, Ralph Lauren, Bode, Mac Cosmetics, Guest in Residence, Kate Spade, Moose Knuckles, Maybelline, Off White, Gap, Poster Girl, Zara, and MCM. Mideyah has experience styling hair for New York, London, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks. She has also lead presentations for Johnathan Cohen and Collina Strada.
